While we've been engaged with working cabinet and lighting action items (more about those two topics on a later post), the stucco guys have been preparing exterior areas of our house for stucco. They use some interesting materials to layer on the various stages in creating a stucco wall.
First a black paper is attached over the Tyvek on the exterior walls. On top of the black paper, a wire lath that looks like chicken wire is affixed. The lath material comes in several sizes. Love the logo of the product!!!!

To give some perspective on the progress of the house, we've been taking pictures over time from a few selected spots. A comparison look at the front of the house from the right angle gives a fun "before and after" shot.
