We were thrilled this morning when our local neighborhood "spy" sent us a couple of pictures!
We had not been expecting so much action today and hurried to get there to check it out!!!
The crew was setting up the forms to lay the foundation. It was very exciting to see the shape of the house laid out on the ground. The guys didn't completely finish the outline of the house, but accomplished enough to give a good idea of the layout.

To celebrate the foundation forms going in, I invited Melinda over for lunch........first meal in our dining room. We enjoyed homemade beef vegetable soup made with fantastic beef from the Lazy C J Cattle Company. In days past, that departed longhorn might have had some lunch of its own on this very spot.
