Day 5 - Good Fences and Good Friends

This Friday was another beautiful, crisp, sunny day in the Hill Country.  In other words, a perfect day for hanging around outside with friends.

In the morning, the protective fencing was staked out and put up around the trees.  Losing trees is an unavoidable part of the building process, but with a little care tree loss can be minimized.  Check out the bright orange web fencing that arrived today.

A more substantial black fence was erected to delineate the parking area for construction vehicles.  A construction site is a very busy place and we hope this little parking lot will help with the inevitable vehicular confusion.

In the afternoon, some of our great neighbors visited us to look over the progress so far.  We are very lucky to have neighbors with a lot of building experience.  They are not a shy group of guys, so it was a fun afternoon talking about the project and hearing their advice.  We appreciate their input and feel fortunate to have the guidance of the Four B's - Bridlewood Building Brains Bunch."

We are looking forward to next week and more progress.
