Day 23 - It's Official

We spent the morning in San Antonio with our wonderful designer, Toi, picking our interior paint colors and refining previous selections.  The great thing about paint is that it is forgiving to change if you make a mistake.  We're very happy today with our palette, but this is a set of selections we can easily tweak in the future if needed.

Toi also provided us some fun sketches of the tile work in our bathrooms. If you are interested in seeing pictures of the tile selections, go back to Day 2 and Day 8/9.

When Bruce arrived at our property he noticed a green piece of paper on the builder's sign at the start of the driveway.  It was an official copy of our building permit!  To quote Martha Stewart - it's a good thing!!!
Hays County Building Permit

Of course, we had been granted a building permit before construction started.  It was just a lot of fun to see the bright green notice!

The plumbers and electricians were really busy today continuing to put in water pipes and electrical wiring.

Floorplugs in the Great Room
We've been told that you are never happy with where you have floorplugs in an open room......so we are putting in three to try to cover our bases :-)

Tomorrow starts early with an inspection before we go any further in the project.  And Friday may prove to be the most exciting day of the week.......stay tuned.
